Jack3d Side Effects of its Two Ingredients
Jack3d side effects from two of its ingredients have been under scrutiny recently over concerns that Jack3d might contain addictive and illegal substances. The two components in question are caffeine and 1,3-Dimethylamylamine or DMAA.
Jack3d side effects of caffeine and DMAA
Caffeine is highly addictive, and not a few individuals have suffered from disrupted routines when trying to cut back or quit their daily brew. Jack3d has the same potential for dependence so it is highly recommended to cycle off it. You should not use Jack3d longer than 12 weeks.
Caffeine can also cause adverse Jack3d side effects on individuals with low tolerance. Symptoms include dizziness, restlessness, anxiety, irritability, and insomnia.
DMAA has similar side effects as caffeine, including increased urination, dry mouth, flushing, nervousness, overexcitement, muscle twitching, cold sweats, and elevated or irregular heartbeat.
If you have a tendency to be hypersensitive to stimulants, use only half a scoop of Jack3d. Avoid taking Jack3d late in the afternoon even when you’re training at night to prevent sleep disruptions.
Jack3d side effects involving alcohol and medication
To prevent adverse Jack3d side effects, consult your physician first before using Jack3d if you are currently taking prescription or over-the-counter medication, or if you are suffering from any pre-existing medical condition including high or low blood pressure, cardiac arrhythmia, stroke, seizure disorder, psychiatric disease, diabetes, prostate enlargement, or heart, liver, kidney or thyroid disease.
The entire time that you are on Jack3d, do not consume alcohol and avoid coffee, tea, soda and other additional stimulants.
Jack3d side effects on drug-tested athletes
USP Labs maintains that Jack3d does not contain any banned substance listed under the United States Controlled Substances Act. However, each organization, employer and league has its own testing platform and standard. While USP Labs attests to the purity of its supplements, it cannot promise that Jack3d will not result in a false positive from a third-party administered lab test.
If you are participating in a sporting event which requires drug testing, check first with your tournament organizer if DMAA, caffeine, and creatine are included in its list of banned substances before taking Jack3d.
None of the plant extracts or compounds in Jack3d were listed in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and World Anti-Doping Association (WADA) lists of banned substances at the time of manufacture in 2009.
This year, however, the NCAA has included nearly all stimulants including caffeine in its banned list, while 1,3 dimethylamylamine has been added to the 2010 WADA list.
Because USP Labs cannot control the addition of its ingredients to any new lists of banned substances, make it your responsibility to verify if these components are allowed in your organization before risking Jack3d side effects.
